Gail smith used to live in Durham and loves to come back to the area to see
friends and family. Now based in South Yorkshire she has just returned from
the launch of her new fashion range in Tobago after identifying a niche in
the market.
Gail has an interior design business and usually holidays in January which
is her quiet period(after hectic months of getting projects finished in time
for Christmas).
She says,"It was always difficult to find anything nice to wear on holiday,
I found myself despondently picking through the rails of sales garments. To
rescue myself and help other discerning women I decided to set up a business
designed especially for women who liked to dress with style on holiday, and
essentially to make it available all year round.
Anula always summer was born. Now you don't have to pound the high street
hunting for clothes. We are all busy these days and just don't have the
time, thats why I decided to put it on the web, it is there 24 hours a day,
whenever you have some time to spare, we will be there to help you. It also
means that we can keep you up to date with new items.
Anula always summer have done the hard work for you by putting together a
range of summer wear so that you can find it all in one place. They have
included stunning swimsuits and bikinis with matching and contrasting
kaftans, flip flops, beach bags and baskets. Each item has been selected
either because of its individuality or attention to detail. All of their
holiday clothes, shoes, bags and accessories have been specially designed to
ensure they co-ordinate, to make it easy for you to put together stunning
combinations.
You look fabulous from the beach or pool, to lunch on the terrace, out
shopping or in the evening sipping your glass of wine at the bar before
dinner.
The fully co-ordinated collection is also lightweight and easy to pack.
As Gail enthuses,"Go ahead and book that holiday then sit back, dream and
imagine yourself in some of these beautiful clothes and accessories on your
dream holiday We chose Tobago for the photographic shoot. Its a beautiful
Island with spectacular palm fringed beaches and fabulous hotels with lush
tropical gardens. We flew direct to Tobago with Golden Caribbean flights.
They were very comfortable and it didn't seem any time at all before we had
arrived.
There was quite a group of us with photographers, assistants, model,
stylists etc and we needed quite a bit of space, what with equipment, stock
etc. So we hired the gorgeous Sunset Reef Villa at Grafton Beach. It was
very spacious, overlooked the beach and was ideally situated for traveling
around the Island.
How fabulous to wake up to the sound of the sea and have breakfast on the
terrace with a fantastic view. One morning we saw fishermen hauling in there
catch, so we rushed down to join in and take some pictures.
It couldn't have been more perfect, the weather was glorious and our model
Andrea was gorgeous. She adds, "We spent a whole day and a half on location
at the impressive CoCo Reef Hotel. The breathtaking gardens were endless,
the pristine white beach, shaded with palms and edged by a lovely harbour so
picturesque, we were spoilt for choice. Plantation Villas was another of our
favourite locations, a small group of pastel coloured clapboard colonial
style cottages, surrounded by manicured lawns and flourished lush gardens.
They have very large verandas from where you could lounge whilst
appreciating that you were in part of a nature reserve, so it was no
surprise to be visited by birds with dazzling plumage as well as the
sweetest tiny humming birds.
We couldn¹t have asked for more, I think that you will agree Tobago was the
Ideal location for Anula. As we were taking photographs we were constantly
stopped by women asking where they could buy the collection from. We are
taking that as a good indicator that we have got it right!
